Dr. Jain did his MBBS from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur in 1996. He subsequently did M.D. in Paediatrics (1999) from Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGI Chandigarh, followed by three years of Senior Residency in same Institute. 
In 2003, he moved to United Kingdom where he pursued three years of higher specialist training in pediatrics and then four years of subspecialty training programme in Pediatric Neurology leading to Certificate of Completion of Subspeciality training (CCST) in Paediatric Neurology.
After finishing subspeciality training in Paediatric Neurology, he pursued Neurophysiology fellowship in prestigious Institute of Neurological Sciences in Southern General Hospital in Glasgow in 2010-11. 
This was followed by a year spent as Uncle Bob Paediatric Neurology fellow in the renowned Children’s  Neurosciences Centre in Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne in year 2011-12, as their first ever overseas fellow in Paediatric Neurology. 
After returning to India in 2012, he initially worked as Consultant Paediatric Neurology in Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai and now in Santokba Durlabhji Hospital, Jaipur. 
He was the first formally trained Pediatric Neurologist to work in Rajasthan and has contributed significantly to the recognition and development of sub specialty of Pediatric Neurology in Rajasthan.
Dr. Jain has more than 50 publications and abstracts to his credit in indexed peer reviewed journals. He is the Course director in India for Pediatric EEG and Pediatric Epilepsy training courses conducted by British Pediatric Neurology Association.  He is also the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE)
Executive Task force member representing Asia, for Epilepsy Diagnosis.
He was awarded with ‘B Sundarrama’ young scientist award by Indian college of Allergy and Immunology, for year 1999. He had also received ‘Order of merit’ for best outgoing resident trainee in PGI Chandigarh for year 1999.  
In 2012, in recognition of attainment of high standard of education and training was elected to the prestigious Fellowship of Royal college of Paediatrics & Child health (FRCPCH) of United Kingdom.
